Just joined RP today and wanted to say hello...
I am rather new to LE and have only been on patrol for about two years as a sworn Officer with the Cincinnati Police Department. I used to fly for a living as a pilot but 9-11 changed that. I have always been interested in LE so I took the Cincinnati Police written test after being furloughed from Delta Airlines after 9-11...and I made the cut due to points added for military service...so here I am on patrol.

Collin, Welcome from another former pilot looking to enter law enforcement as a second career! I used to fly for the Marine Corps (KC-130's and T-34C Turbo Mentors) but am retiring from that as of today! I'm pursuing a position in the Pensacola Police Dept here in the panhandle.

When did you go through Primary? NAS Whiting or NAS Corpus? I was in VT-2 from late '86 through mid '87 and then went to HT-8 at Whiting for helo training. I flew the SH-60B Seahawk in the fleet. Sounds like you returned to the training command as an IP in the T-34. Cool. I wanted to do that to build fixed wing time. I requested T-34 IP for shore duty but didn't get it. The detailer in DC didn't like me or something. lol
