just joined the site and im in the midle of all my investigations and paper work to get in to the NYPD for the july class.
hopefully all goes well.wish me luck

thank you hopefully all goes well and theres no problems. i never been in trouble and have a pretty clean record, only 2 tickets, on window tint and one out of state speeding for doing 40 in a 35. so i think i should bie fine

Welcome aboard and good luck in the process. I am also in the process for the July 06 class with the NYPD. There are a few threads going on right now you should check out. Just do a search for NYPD and you'll see them. I can't say for sure how you will do since I am in the same boat as you but if you have the proper paperwork to show that you have taken care of those tickets than you should be fine. I also had tinted windows ticket and just had to prove that I paid it.

i just came back from my Psy. interview so hopefully i did ok
not to sure how your know if you passed or not cause you just answer questions about yourself and they told me that my investigator will tell me
if i passed or not..

Psych Tests
1. Never think about wether you passed or not. It will just do your head in because the questions are usually so far out there (if they are anything like the ones we did over here)
2. As long as you "didn't want to jump off the cliff", or have "never had thoughts of killing people", and "don't hear voices that other people don't hear", you should be right.
When I did mine I was put in a small room and the overhead light kept going on and off. I wasn't sure if I should show assertiveness and ask them if it was broken and could they fix it, or wether I should just put up with it and show that I can work under pressure. I was sure that it was some kind of bizarre test. Found out later that it was just a busted globe.
