Hello to everyone on REAL POLICE. I have been visiting this forum for several months and I must say it has been very helpful. I should've registered and introduced myself a while ago, but now is still a good time.
I'm from Queens, NY, and I took the NYPD exam in Oct '05. I was called up in January for the backfill class and was ready for hire, but NYPD overbooked so I am now entering the July academy. I was put on standby and missed entering January by less than 10 spots. :(
Well, this forum has really helped me out in preparing for the process and has even given me an idea of what to expect during the academy. I really appreciate it all!
