Hi Everyone,

My name is Kristina. I am not in law enforcement. I am married to a wonderful man, who is in the stages of the hiring process (Belmar75). I have much respect to those who risk their life so that the public can remain safe. I thank you.

My husband, Michael, told me about this site and so far, I am quite impressed with the vast knowledge everyone has contributed. I think having such a site is wonderful because it gives those, who seek to be Law Enforcement Officers, the added support and confidence. I hope to learn more about the career that Michael has chosen. Actually, I have a firearms class this weekend to learn more about what Michael may have to bring home.

Thank you.. I am trying my best to show him that this career choice is a joint effort. I am in it for the long haul. Prior to him applying, I had no idea the hiring process is so intense and thorough.

His family has been concerned with the idea of him being an LEO. In the beginning, I too had my reservations, regarding his safety, but then I had to put it into perspective. Someone has to do the job and those that protect us are making sacrifices, i.e endangering their life.
