Hello, and welcome from a security guard in LA , Cali.
While driving on I405 once I saw a burning VW bug on fire on the right side of the freeway, the driver just sitting there watching it burn, while everybody else just drove by on their own happy way :eek:
Thank god I had a fire extinguisher in my car, pulled over, called 911, and discharged the whole container all over his engine.
I was praying the whole time nothing to explode until the FD showed up!

A friend of mine knows one of the flying tigers, who had diabetes as a pilot and still gong strong in his late eighties.
I don't know how he got in the army air corp with diabetes, but back then before the air force was in existance, I guess they were glad to get any experieced pilot.
He manages it with insulin, and knows when to take it. Otherwise, he has lived a long and healthy life, and will probably keep going for many more years.
