Gday
My name is James and I am a constable in the Northern Territory Police Force currently posted to Tennant Creek (which is approx 1000km's south of Darwin, NT, Australia).
Tennant Creek is an old gold mining town that has fallen on hard times. Some of the residents have not noticed this yet as they are a bunch of drunken loonies and drug dealers.
Negative? No. I just wanted to paint a picture.
The upside of Tennant Creek is that it is great for Police work. General Duties members (patrol persons for the US posters) do everything from multiple offender crimes, to forensic's on scene at every job from Unlawful Entries to sexual assaults etc
In the future I am looking to spend time in the United States on a officer-transfer program. I have yet to look into it.
Too many damn hearing files.
Anyhow, Night shift calls and the drunks are hooting in the background on ANZAC hill.

Another Aussie, good to see you made it. I am a constable in South Australian Police based in Millicent which is about 45 minutes from Mt Gambier. Keep in touch and stay safe up there mate.
