    Hey from Chicago

    Hey everyone,
    I've posted a few times but never really introduced myself. Let me start by saying I love long walks on beaches, candlelight dinners, 1 on 1 activities...oh wait, wrong forum!

    Seriously though, I've been in the process for CPD for awhile now and just had my home interview. Everything went well and I should be in the academy sometime this spring (provided I pass the second power test, which won't be a problem).

    Anyway, this is a great forum and I hope to one day be able to join the dark side of the verifieds.

    Hi and welcome to Real Police. I hope you continue to do well in the hiring process and things work out well for you in the spring.

    I was born and raised in Wisconsin (Don't want to say where exactly I am now).
    I am a sad Packer fan at the moment and a closet Bears/Vikings fan too. (No one supposed to know that either). You wouldn't happen to be a closet Packer fan would you? A lot of people from Illinois really are Packer fans you know. You don't have to be worried about admitting it now that the secret's out.
