    Me too!

    Hi Everyone,

    I've been lurking for several weeks now and have really enjoyed the stories, advice, etc.

    This Saturday I will be taking my first PAT and written test so I'm getting pretty excited. I've been sitting behind a desk for about 10 years now and can no longer stand it. I'm ready to get off the sidelines and into the game. It wasn't an easy sell at first to my wife, but she has come around to support me now. I'm looking forward to the challenges ahead!

    Welcome to RP. I'm kind of in your position also, I've been in a "desk" job for about the same amount of time as an IT Manager and it also, is driving me nuts. The idea of me pursuing my future in LE also didn't initially sit well with the husband, but he's coming around :eek:

    Good luck with your tests this weekend, I'm sure you'll kick A88 :D
    7 foot pursuits and counting......

    ...kind of like you're never around when that little !@#$% is diving in and out of rush-hour traffic, going way to fast, cutting everyone off, and generally treating our highways as an obstacle course? ;)
