I stumbled across this forum just tonight, and from what I've seen so far, the community seems to be one of the best online. I'm just a teenager, but I'd really like to get into a career where I can help people and make some kind of positive difference. More than anything else, the ability for me to potentially make things better for others is what's driven me throughout my life. That's how I stumbled across this site - I was looking for info on possible law enforcement careers.

That being said, I'm sure you are all dying to learn a little about me. Most people consider me to be computer savvy. I already have my A+ certification, and am working on my Net+. It's funny, because I don't want to get into a career just involving computers. (technician, programmer... ugh.)

I love creative expression. I've been writing fiction since I could talk, and I've started to become a much better artist. In fact, I make animated films for a hobby, and I really enjoy how it blends art, music, and writing so perfectly. I play keyboard in my spare time, but I'm pretty bad at it. I'm learning, though.

Physical fitness is very important to me. I love weight lifting and running, and I'm in pretty good shape for my age.

Welcome to RP, good to have someone here with a tech background. I work in the Data Center of a major Telco, and we just had all kinds of LEOs (Federal and local) in here a few weeks ago, collecting evidence on one of our customers. They tell me there's lots of growth in the IT side of LE, so looks like you may be able to combine both interests. Good luck!

Smart move. I'm a computer/IT administrator and although I like what i do some of the time, its overwhelmingly boring at times which is one of the many reasons i have made the decision to join the academy.
