Well I ran across this forum a couple days ago and it looks like a great site. Been reading a couple of posts and I like the demeanor of ya'll in here, looks like a cool place to hang out. I'm not in LE myself, but I have quite a few relatives that are. I went and got a CJ degree in college, but my wife kinda wanted me to pursue a different course for now. I currently work for a company that manufactures plasma cutting torches. I inspect the product before it goes out and do audits throughout the company. I really dislike my job, and I find it very unfulfilling and more and more each day I wish I had pursued law enforcement. Other then that, I love playing sports, especially baseball and football, and mountain biking. Anyways, I'm still very intrigued with LE, and I look forward to learning what I can from those of you that are employed in the industry.

There are jobs that are supportive of Law enforcement that maybe worth looking into.

It has been said many times that this is a job that you do not choose to do rather it is a job that chooses you. Keep reading the posts that the Verfied's like myself post, you will begin to understand what we do on a daily basis. Also you may want to do a ride-along with your local pd before you attempt to confince the wife that LE is your calling. Anyways welcome to the board.
