Newbie here 1st post

Hi, my name is Richard. I'm an auto technician and for a side/new business I install and sell in-car computing systems...AKA "carputers".
I joined this site for two reasons:
1. I (honestly) appreciate what good cops do for us citizens, I've had my bad days in my youth which included doing all the wrong things, for the wrong reasons. (I wasn't too bad) But, I grew up and now hate crime and unfortunately am not too crazy about todays youth and their behaviour. I don't mean all of them. I will say that these days are tougher for them than they where for me.
2. My hobby and side business is carputers. I have one in my car, I have all my mp3's on there, navigation, cd rom, rear view camera, WiFi, and more.
Yes, I'm carefull and don't mess with it while I'm moving, and no, I don't watch movies while driving.

My curiosities include 1. legal issues with a system like this as far as "use" is concerned, and then legal issues as far as selling these. I intend to add an "I agree" button which the users must push...agreeing to the hazards, legalities, etc.
and 2. Do police officers use anything like this in their cars and what are your thoughts about using these.
