CHARACTER is what you do when no one is watching....
Oh my I feel rude! All these lovely welcomes and I forgot that I'd posted an introduction so I ignored them! SO SORRY!
Actually I sit around and eat romances and read bon bons while my children serve me and do all the work around here...
No wait, that was my dream last night. Sorry... the line between dreamland and reality is blurred to such a degree that I often wonder which is which. I'll be glad when sick baby is no longer sick and I get a full night's rest again!
Nine is a healthy start. Coming from someone who had no intentions of marriage and certainly wasn't going to have CHILDREN (didn't like em) I find it hysterical that God got the last laugh..
Oh... and for the curious...
Yes they are all ours
No we're not Mormon
No We're not Catholic
Yes we know what causes them
No we didn't have TV for most of our marriage (and getting it didn't stop the last one)
No, teens are not going to cure us, we LOVE our teens,
And yes, as a matter of fact, we do drive a school bus!
(Slightly modified from Rick Boyer's book 'yes they're all ours'.)
Then again, when we're in one of our quirky moods we've been known to quote George Bailey of It's a Wonderful Life fame. "You call this a happy family? Why did we have to have all of these kids???" hee hee
Fortunately my husband makes a good salary, we live in a small town with a low crime rate (well... outside of the drug trade... I hear it's bad but I've never seen evidence of it and I hope to keep it that way thank you very much) and our children are the delight of our lives. I have three teen aged daughters, two coming up fast behind, and if anyone had told me teens were so FUN I'd have had a few dozen first! (But babies learning to walk and babble are particularly adorable, I'll grant you that.)
Well I think it's great Chautona! Now, I will never have that many...but I think it's great.
So you named that baseball team yet? ;)
Sixburgh
6 time Super Bowl Champions
They were who we thought they were.
Playoffs?? Playoffs!!??? Don't talk about PLAYOFFS!!!??

HOOAH!!!!! Its an Army thing, you wouldn't understand.
Got a suggestion for that team?

Welcome to RP, it seems you'll fit right in.
Oh and just a hint, while I suppose you COULD eat a romance novel, it probably wouldn't taste very good. ;)
"Cheshire Puss," she began, rather timidly... "Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where..." said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go," said the Cat.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Oh no! I eat the romances and read the bon bons... You see eating the romances gives me more fiber and is healthier for my mind. The same goes, in reverse of course, for the bon bons.
Just a healthier option for mind and body. :D
Can't believe I'm still on here. Just got news an hour ago that my friend's little 9 month old baby died (not unexpected but still not prepared). Just not feeling like going to sleep right now.
