Hello all. I never got a chance to introduce myself, so here goes. I've been an Real Police member for about a year now, but mainly just browse the forums. I am a Criminal Justice student at a local college, and expect to graduate in the Fall of 2006. I'll most likely be starting a volunteer position at my local PD so that I can get more familiar with the department (awaiting the interview). I am highly interested in criminal justice and law enforcement, and hope to get hired with my local police department or State Patrol after I graduate. I'm keeping myself busy with school and lots of ride-alongs with various PD's around the metro area. I see all of these job openings and wish I could graduate already! Any suggestions/tips are welcomeThanks

Astronomical avatar of the week: The Hourglass Nebula: This formation of gasses was created when a dying star gently ejected its outer layers forming a glowing region of ionized gas as seen in the photo. The remaining core is known as a white dwarf, seen in the center. Our sun will leave a similar corpse behind after expending its nuclear fuel. This nebula is located in the constellation Musca, the fly, visible only in the southern hemisphere.

Hey guy! I met paroxysm the other night actually. I covered an officer who had a truck stopped at a gas station for a traffic vio, occupied X3. Occs. were hinky, and a passenger started digging in the seat. He got three muzzles pointed in his direction, and all three occupants were warned of the dangers of .40 thru .45 cal body piercings. Pulled out of the car, consent to search yielded a couple of ounces of MJ, and five bindles of crack. A good little bust, and paroxysm was there to see it. :D He approached us after the excitement was done, and asked some good questions. Later I get a PM, saying that after he left, he realized I was one of the officers. LMAO Small *** world.
