    Aussie Correctional Officer

    Hi there everyone,

    I am an Australian Male 28 years of age and currently working in corrections for the past six years. I am interested in knowing if their are any loopholes that I might be able to explore to gain employment in the United States as either a Correctional officer or a Police Officer. I am obviously not a US citizen but I am prepared to become one if it means gaining employment. If anybody can point me in the right track or give me some advice I would appreciate it very much.

    If I remember right, there was a (pretty antagonistic) thread on here a while back about which departments required citizenship. The consensus was that almost all do, but there are a select few that don't. A search should pull it up.
