Hi Kai. Are you German ?
Actually I donīt know of other states. I picked Chicago because itīs Chicago. That CPD doesnīt require citizenship was a lucky coincidence.
But Iīll keep my eyes open and tell you in case I find out more.

No, I'm Norwegian. Thanks for the info in CPD. I've been looking into Colorado, but Chicago is closer to where I live now (Minnesota)

Welcome aboard! My wife was born in Germany, on a military base. Her family lineage is German on both sides, but here from the U.S.
At our wedding, we had her relatives from Germany fly over for it. They were from Cologne. One of the few German-American homes that I know of that all members speak German. Kinda left me in the cold since I am an Irish mutt.
"Kid, I've sat on the department ****ter longer than you've been a cop." (CatDoc to Chevy SS, the single greatest post ever on RP!)

No, I havenīt tried down under yet. But it sure is on my schedule. A great country, no doubt, but donīt the U.S. of A. offer a little bit more diversity ?

Donīt worry, the Irish are fine people, and tell them itīs impolite to leave you in the cold since theyīre supposed to speak English in America.

Iīve always welcomed the presence of U.S. troops in Germany. Theyīve truly saved our *** and I will always remember that the life we may live here we owe to their blood.
Thankīs to all your fathers or grandfathers. Maybe theyīve killed some of my family but I appreciate their sacrifice. It had to be done, and ( as usual ) only America had the guts to act.
