Good evening all,
For me, I'm Active Duty Air Force getting ready to seperate from the military for a civilian leo career. The Air Force has been real good to me for the 6 yeards I have been in, but my enlistment is up and the powers that be have decided that we have too many people currently serving. To counter act this they cut all our bonuses to almost nothing and have increased our deployment tempos due to our short manning nature. (Didn't I say we were over manned before? hrrm.. makes sense doesn't it?) After checking around I have applied with a state police agency and will know shortly if I have gotten hired.
I've been checking out the board the last couple days and have found it to be quite interesting and a good read so I decided to register and support it and hope that I can provide any help needed.

Your right SF dosnt mean MP to me, It means Special forces. I think thats a little tougher to get into (maybe),

J's Girl - Thanks, I'm glad I found this board.
Starflyer525i - Depending when portion of SF you like more, I could give you some base recommendations if you ever do join. I highly encourage you to try, and I haven't heard of them turn anyone away from Security Forces unless they were trying really hard (think dishonorable discharge) to get out.
0311Marine - Devil Dog, thanks. We have a misguided devil dog in my unit that decided to switch into the blue. Most feared ticket writer on base and a heck of a guy.
mcsap- And thanks from you as well. You'll be sad to hear they changed the badge numbering system. I've been issued 4 badges and none of them have the same number! We still use the old system for our tickets and reports though. ;)
