Hi there! I'd just like to introduce myself.
I was born in New Jersey and spent my entire childhood looking up to law enforcement officers in my local county (and all LEOs for that matter). I knew that someday, I wanted to do what they did. I moved to Australia at the end of 1998 and completed high school here. I'm currently studying a business degree at the University of Queensland.
To prepare myself for a career in law enforcement, I am currently waiting for the next batch of applications to begin for a volunteer position in the State Emergency Service (SES). In a nutshell, the SES is a rescue organisation which is called to deal with missing persons searches, natural disastors, and other rescue operations. Hopefully, this will give me a good idea as to the demands that a career in an emergency service profession entails.
I hope that the great police officers on this site can bath me in their vast amounts of knowledge about the profession, and I hope to someday join you in the ranks. Thanks in advance for your time!
- Anton
