    I'm not boasting about it at all. I did talk about it in the Explorer thread a few weeks ago, to illustrate that mental attitude is the key to surviving these things.

    Many Explorers, even Police Officers think that nothing will ever happen to them. It's an unfortunate mindset, that can get people hurt.

    So what was the commendation for? You don't get one for being a great bystander at a shootout or taking cover in a manner above and beyond training.
