There are some good things about the Air Marshals... The MAIN reason people go to them is for the money. A lot of fed criminal investigators left their, already good paying jobs, to go to the Air Marshals.
A guy from my office was one of them. He came back. Another guy from my SRT jumped to them as well. He is still with them. e will not be staying with them, however. As I understand it, the job has a lot of potential. However, the management make it a lot worse than it has to be. There is a lot of mismanagement and poorly thought out policy that makes things unbearable for most in the job.
BTW, welcome to RP. Glad to have you with us.
Also, something for you to consider... I have never been one to talk down education. However, a masters in the fed arena does not give you all that many points on the app... nothing that the experience of an LE job spent during that same job wouldn't offer. Then, in addition to the experience points onthe app, you have the life experiences from said job. Just a thought.
Good luck and let us know how we can help.
