    Wink Hi from LAPD Wife

    I've been cruising these forums for a few months now, so not totally new, but just wanted to say hello. I'm having a ton of fun and really love the information and comradarie I've found within this site.

    I've been married to my husband for 8 years. He's been a member of the LAPD for 15 years now. A great majority of that time he's spent as a narcotics officer. We're part of a family tradition, as my father-in-law was also a career officer, retiring a few years ago after serving on the NYPD for 30 years.

    I spend most of my time in the "Better Half" forum. I am the writer for a blog called LAPD Wife. Much of what I read about and discuss in the Better Half forum fuels ideas for my site and supports my desire to provide a place for officer's wives everywhere, not just in L.A., to interact for support, laughs and feel a general sense of wellness, knowing that they aren't alone out there.

    Thanks for providing a wonderful place for this here.
