I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I just signed up here thanks to Barenaked, and will be leaving my .02 here and there.
I've been with the US Coast Guard now for 6.5 years, now living in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area, but I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. Longterm I'm hoping to get hired on to a PD or SO either in the suburbs of Chicago or Central FL somewhere.

Is it cold up there now? We were up in WisCANsin last April & the weather was great. Windy & chilly...just the way I like it! Gets WAY too hot here in North Cackalacky.
