Hi,
I'm migo. I'm not too good with intros as I'm not sure what's relevant info and what isn't, so if you want to know something, just ask.

Welcome to the RP forum.
I am an LEO in Missouri.
You know the difference between a job and a duty? A job you can refuse to do because it's dangerous; a duty you must do even if it is dangerous.

Thanks!
I'm just a civilian, starving university student. Well, not quite starving.
Been there, done that, refused therapy. What's your course study?

Well right now I'm doing a technical writing course (finished in 3 days) and have deferred poli sci exam (I really should start studying, probably on tuesday...).
I'm going for a BA with English Major and Chinese Minor (and I'm Swiss/Canadian just to confuse things).
Interesting, I was a Poli sci major when I started, thought I could change the world. Then I changed to CJ, thought I could save it. Wrong on both accounts. :D
Interesting language choice, Chinese. Any particular reason for that choice, perhaps travel abroad?

30% of the population in greater Vancouver is Chinese, so it's rather important to be able to speak it if I want a good chance at getting a job. I'm already at a disadvantage for employment because Chinese employers are less likely to hire me because I'm white, and despite that fact non-Chinese employers still have to meet their quota of non-white employees or risk getting accused of being discriminatory. So being able to speak Chinese will give me a major leg up over most other non-Chinese people in landing a job, as because of the high Chinese population (about half of which can barely speak English) Chinese people who speak English fluently have an advantage in landing jobs over anyone else.
That and I also decided to learn it because I was dating a Chinese girl for over a year. That wasn't the primary motivator though, it just opened my eyes up to the reality of where I had just moved to.
Welcome to RP!
Welcome to RP, just being a civilian is ok to us.

I myself have always liked english, especially writting assignments. I Hope you enjoy it here!
Thanks for the welcomes!
I'm not too fond of writing the assignments, but proof reading other people's assignments is always fun.
