    Arrow New Guy From Michigan

    Hi, i'm from Traverse City, Michigan and hope to be in Law Enforcement soon. Any info on Michigan PD's or Chicago PD's would be awesome!

    Hi thanks for the warm welcome.
    I'm looking at Grand Traverse Sherriffs dept. for now as I'm not old enough for state.
    I'm 19 no college yet (planning on CJ degree) and am probabley moving to chicago in less then a year unless I get in good with a Dept. here.

    Damn northern michigan tree huggers lol. Come on down to the ghetto lol. I doubt you will get on with a good department at your age int he next year. Look up Grand Rapids PD they are a good department and pay decent, and has the same hiring requirements as Detroit. 18 good record and take your MCOLES written and physical and apply. Call them and find out what you need to do your only about 2 hours away if that.

    Yeah I might just do that, I read up on the MCOLES and am pretty confident that I would pass it. Any idea when the next testing is?

    www.mcoles.org and look for your self. Call GRPD and ask them cause they administer the test there as well.
