I'm a former Cincinnati Police Officer where I served on patrol from 2004 to 2006. Law enforcement was originally intended to be my second career starting at the age of 40. My first career (to which I returned to in 2006) has been flying which I began in 1986 with the U.S. Navy as a SH-60B Seahawk helicopter pilot. Following six years of active duty military flying, I transitioned to civilian fixed wing flying and became a regional airline pilot for six years at a Delta Connection carrier and then was hired by Delta Airlines in 2001 just prior to 9-11. Following 9-11 I was furloughed by Delta Airlines for 5 years at which time I applied and was hired as a Cincinnati Police Officer. I was recalled from furlough in 2006 and needed to make a choice between law enforcement or flying...so I chose flying and have been flying the MD88/MD90 aircraft since 2006 at Delta Airlines. I continue to have some social ties with the Cincinnati Police and conduct ride alongs with my former Cincinnati Police patrol partner on occasion.

I have been married almost 17 years to a wonderful wife and we have two children ages 13 and 10.

I'm 28 years old and started my carer in law enforcement two years ago. I'm a patrol officer for a central Texas city with a population of 25,000. I do some reloading and have pretty good knowledge on firearms.
I have been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for about 3 years and highly recommend it to any patrol officer.
