My workout playlist is getting old and in need of an update. Wondering what others have on their lists? I listen to a lot of Crue, Metallica, Zombie, NIN ect.

My workout playlist?
The birds, trees, & just generally the sound of wildlife. I live (and jog) in a rural area.
Four noisy cylinders don't have the soul of eight cylinders playing the tune that my right foot orchestrates.

I haven't work out as much as I should since retiring from my first P.D.
But, our work out "music" consisted of, "Come on, p****, push it!" or a very long and loud "Fuc*************!!!"This career is not a sprint, it is a marathon.

I'd also like to add that the sound of the soles of my shoes against pavement is an... "interesting" accompaniment to my workout routine. My shins generally hurt afterward.
The sound of a can of corned beef hash & six scrambled eggs frying is the soundtrack to my carbo-loading routine. Very critical... y'know...

I'd also like to add that our gym was in the basement of the P.D. right underneath the front lobby. There were a few times when we were chastised and told to turn down the volume of our motivational encouragement because we could be heard in the lobby.
We didn't play any music down there. It was a bare bones, concrete walls, free weights man cave.
No friggen pictures, plants, deodorant or music necessary. Sensitivity and virgin ears to be checked at the door.This career is not a sprint, it is a marathon.

I'm usually in a cross-fit gym. Sometimes I workout at the office and, in those cases, I plug my Zune in and it sounds about the same. There tends to be a lot of Dope, Drowning Pool, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead, Dropkick Murphys, Avenged Sevenfold, Static X, some Rise Against etc.
