Is there a website that shows what Police Departments in the St. Louis area are hiring?
And for any St. Louis Officers, what would you consider pro's/con's between St. Louis county versus St. Louis Metro.
Thanks for you time!

St. Louis County has continual testing for their department. Their hiring, of late, has been spotty though, as the budget issues that kept the officers from getting a raise have trickled over into the new hires as well.
Consider putting yourself through the Academy (in St. Louis County or Eastern MO, Jeff Co, etc). The St. Louis Area is unique in that almost all departments want someone already certified prior to hire. Even the ones who say it's not required would prefer it.
St. Louis County and St. Louis Metro are both good departments that have issues, like everywhere. I wouldn't limit myself to just those two, however. There are a lot of really good municipalities in St. Louis County in addition to St. Charles County, City, St. Peter's, O'Fallon, etc.
For more specific information on any departments in the area, just ask or send me a PM.
