well, I wanted to enlist in the military, however, I had an arrest when I was a minor(was 16 years old). The charge was battery, but it was a domestic call (against my father). Now, 9 years have passed by and never got in trouble again; I also received 63 college credits.

I know the case was dismissed(after i did community service and a therapy class) and the charge was a misdemeanor. I know I can possess firearms, so I do not fall under the lautenberg act (not sure exactly how to spell it).

do you think that will pose as a problem when I try to enlist in the military?

Depends on what their current criteria is. And it changes based on need. If they're hurting for enlistments, they lower the standards, when they're not they raise them. You'll have to talk to a recruiter.
