Soldier, police and fire fighters are always injured / killed while performing their duty. I wish it didn't happen, I train police to try to keep it from happening, but it does and will continue to happen.

I find this type of argument and posturing to be offensive.

You are way off base here and reading way to much into a post that is not there.
    I am a veteran..

Six word and a link and this is what you got out of it, sorry you are wrong...
I don't find your accusation offensive though just ridiculas, that's all.

    Thank you

My husband is currently deployed to Afghanistan. He's been there for eight months now...I just want to thank everyone who shows their support. It helps our troops so much to know they have this support! As the spouse of a deployed National Guardsman, who is a Police Officer, I can say that the moral support I have received from friends, acquaintances and members of our community has meant so much to me. I wear a pin depicting my husbands service flag and our kids wear yellow ribbons...it is amazing how many people have stopped us in stores or at restaurants and asked about our pins. When we tell them our story, the one thing most have said is thank your husband for all he is doing. It always brings tears to my eyes. I know how proud I am of my husband...it is nice to know that most everyone else is proud of him as well. Again, I thank you for your support.

GOD bless all those deployed and all those family members waiting for their return!!!
