Can I get AF OSI written into my contract

I've been looking into either the AF or Army to enlist in when I graduate college in about a year and a half. I was told that there is a good chance that I would be able to get CId written into my contract if I go with the army. I know that the CO has to approve of the move, I was wondering is the same true for AF OSI. Can I get that written into my contract too? I not only would like to serve my country, but also get some good work experience involving investigative work before either going local or Fed(since I wouldn't have any if I tried to get hired out of college). Also, what would my rank be after graduationg from basic with a college degree. I heard it is either a E-3 or E-4.

Dude, you ask alot of questions lol.

I have a buddy who is an AF cop type....he's a squared away guy, enlisted with a degree, and it looks like he will make a good cop in the civilian world.
With that said, he has FOUGHT to get into OSI...to no avail.

No in either branch. CID is not an enlistable MOS, i used to work at ft cambell cid. OSI works the same way, u must work another specialtiy first before u can apply.
