    Is Osama bin Ladin alive?

Is Osama still living, even though in 2001 or before he was diagnosed with kidney disease and on dialysis? The average life expectancy of a patient on dialysis under the care of renal and urological specialists in a sterile environment is approximately 4 years.
All through Bush's administration he was criticized by politicians and liberals alike for not capturing this physically sick man who was supposedly wandering through the hostile wilderness and remote mountains of western Afghanistan or somewhere in the mountainous area of eastern Pakistan.
IMHO, there's no way this guy could still be living, even though liberals and some politicians believe he's still the biggest threat in the world today.

Of every one hundred men, ten should not even be here. Eighty are nothing but targets. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the One... One of them is a Warrior... He will bring the others back.

If I remember right, wasn't there an audio recording that was confirmed to be this jackass last year or so?

I think he's dead and the goverment just doesn't want to lose anymore support for the war. If the people thought he was dead their cries to pull troops from OEF would be even louder. Just my opinion.

Lemme tell ya, if he's dead and the gov't knows, that would be one of the best-kept secrets - EVER. That would require a conspiracy of the highest order since everybody and their brother would be talking about it, writing home telling their family and friends, sat-phone calls/conversations, not to include the other nations which would no doubt know and have to keep it secret as well.

I don't think so. He's still alive running around cave-hopping somewhere.

Agreed. Just from a logical perspective, I don't believe that the government has the capabilities of keeping such a massive secret from the public--were it so, someone, somewhere, would have spilled the beans by now. There are activists, hackers, informants, etc. who would have gladly released the information, and there would be no way for the government to silence all of them; honestly, only the Taliban itself would perpetuate such a conspiracy.

Are you on the crack corn? They couldnt even keep the secret about that one chick chipping her tooth on Clinton's pecker. That SOB is either dead and the governemnt doesnt know or he is alive and very lucky. Either way Ill bet no one is chipping their teeth on his pecker....Bin Ladin not Clinton.

I find it difficult to believe that we are unable to locate him if he is alive. Bringing me to a few "guesses".

    1. He is dead.
    2. We have him.
    3. A "friend" has him.
    4. We know he is dead but the fuel for war is needed - in essence it is necessary to keep the Juggernaut running.

Who knows? But I do agree, it would be nearly impossible to keep a secret like this.

He may be either very good or the luckiest bastard alive, and personally I don't believe in luck that much and think he is getting help from more than a bunch of mountain boys with RPG's.

The government is not a singe mind of elitists with a common will, it's filled with bureaucrats with their own agenda who look to build up their own empires. If you seriously believe the government is involved in conspiracies like keeping Bin Laden's death a secret (especially THIS administration) you're either uneducated on how the federal government works or delusional.

Our government can't keep secrets, especially big ones. Why do you think "anonymous" sources always run to the New York Times or Washington Post? Do you think it was to the government's advantage to divulge the fact that the Intelligence Community was listening to terrorist chatter during the Bush Administration? If you really believe in a mass conspiracy to keep Bin Laden's death a secret exists, you'll be equally interested to learn of the government's secret program to keep Elvis Presley's brain alive at Area 51.

He's still around. I don't understand how someone can get close enough to snap a picture....... if it was me I'd turn my camera into an automatic. That's just my .2 cents though.
