    Question about disqualifications in Military

Yesterday, I was at a military forum reading some of the threads that were made, when I came upon one that caught my eye. It had to do with the guy not being able to enlist because when he was younger he had went to talk to a counselor. I can't remember if he said what it was for. My question is in '98 or '99 which was either my freshmen or sophomore year in high school I went to talk to some lady(might have been either therapist or counselor, can't remember) because I was having trouble with my temper, which I have since corrected and worked on. I went to this lady only once, so does that mean I will be disqualified from military service.

Kinda hard to answer that question as requirements and the opportunities to obtain waivers for certain things are constantly changing, as are requirements to fill specific occupational fields - best bet would be to ask a recruiter from the branch of service you have selected.

Best of Luck - does not sound like a disqualifier to me.
Go ahead and run.....my k-9 partner loves the exercise

Did the lad have thoughts of killing his family or was he suffering because his girlfriend of 6 months dumped him ?

I hardly believe it was the latter.
