actually i signed for active duty now, after that paper work goes through i will pick an MOS i would like to do, and hopefully i get it. Im in high school right now and looking forward to get out.

Nope DSS is in charge of security for the Ambassador and all US employees at the embassy in addition to other things. They are pretty high speed.

well in truth i'll wish you luck. i've heard stories of my prior enlisted buddies who (Marines) wanted to take the time to take college courses and their staff sergeants or gunnies say "What does a college degree have to do with (enter MOS here)? Get back to work!" It will make it harder not easier.

Oh so true. Pretty hard to study when you are sitting in a foxhole in the middle of Iraq trying to not get your *** shot off. Of course if you are in the Air Force you could do it while sitting in the comfort of your cool and comfortable quonset hut at Baghdad Intl ;)
