3 simples laws if I ever make it as a politician in my retirement days...

1- Law number 1; No politicians shall make promess that he won't keep... From now on every politicians are legally obliged to respect the promises they made while campaining... Failure to respect any of his promess results in immediate destitution and punishable by 1 years of jail for fooling Canadian citizens.... This would take the bull**** out of campainers that are willing to say anything to be elected...

    Law 2-
Inmate will do all of the sentence as pronounced by the trial judge... no release at the 1/3 or half sentence... Judges are paid in consequence and are suppose to be smart enougth to prononce an adequate sentence in each case... No governemental agency shall go against their decision. All sentence will apply integrally!!!

    Law 3-
Independant accounting review of the budget and financial statement at the end of each year. The accounting firm is chosen by a board of MP's of each parties.. It must be changed each year in order to guarantee fairness and integrity ... Should the governement in deficit more then 250 millions dollars per year.... it shall resign and elections are called immediatly... (to see if population still trust their management abilities.)

NOW.... WOULD YOU VOTE FOR ME?????

I would on the condition that you also make it illegal to make constitutional ammendments that allow politicians to break your other rules.

That is what I was just thinking of today, making it illegal to break your promises that you made during the election. I think that the lawyers would have a field day defining all kinds of crap but still a good idea.
