Self-Defense Laws of All 50 States

I did a search for a certain book and may have missed it, so my apologies if I did.

I just ordered a book by Mitch Vilos titled Self-Defense Laws of all 50 States.

Has anyone read it, and is it a great read? Honestly, I can't wait for the book to hurry and get here!

    Your thoughts, please.

****Mods, could you please edit the title to read Self-Defense. Thank you.

I haven't read it, but if you read about Idaho's self-defense laws, would you mind telling me what they are? You don't have to, but I just figured I'd ask. I can't figure them out.
My grandpa shotgunned a gas thief once, but the guy got away. And when he told the Sheriff, the Sheriff told him that if he ever did it, and killed anyone, that he needed to pull the guy inside his house before he called the cops, because it wasn't legal otherwise.
This was all told to me by my rather anti-law enforcement grandfather, so I don't know how much is true or not. I have absolutely NO doubt that my grandpa shot the guy though, ten seconds with my grandpa would convince anyone of that.
Anyway, sorry for rambling. If you ever feel like posting Idaho's self defense laws on here, let me know about it. And, to make this post semi-relevant, I just started reading a book, called "A People's History of the Supreme Court", by Peter Irons. It's a pretty good book, if you are interested in stuff like that, I recommend it.
Oh, is your signature quote by Adam Smith, as in, the Adam Smith that wrote "Wealth of Nations"?
