Anyone else listen to books on CD? I have a pretty long drive to and from work and I find myself listening to these more and more.

I love books on CD for a long drive. They pass the time much better than the radio. Unfortunately they are not the cheapest things in the world so I don't buy them as often as I would like.
probably damn near 60-90 (all tax deductible to, be it rent or buy don't matter :D)over the past two years now. Being alone driving 10+ hour days for 7 days a week will make you do something to pass the time, and music and audio books do it for me.

All the time on either a CD or MP3. I'm listening to "Last of the Mohicans" now. I love the classics.
"...Our natural, inalienable rights are now considered to be a dispensation of government, and freedom has never been so fragile, so close to slipping from our grasp as it is at this moment.” Ronald Reagan

You know, it honestly never occurred to me that the library would have them. I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed.![]()
I don't think I've ever been to my public library. I used to go to the one on post but I can't anymore obviously.
The cost for a new book on cd can EASILY be up $50+ at a book store sure, but you can rent them from places like travel centers for anywhere from 6-16 $s. They're supposed to be weekly or biweekly rentals but I've kept many over that time and never got in trouble.
You right, it's cost prohibitive, but I can deduct all fees on my taxes.
