training your k9 partner

good day all.
I have a couple questions about your K9 partner
1) when your partner is working with you do you reward him with food treats when he does a good job likes catches the bad guy or finds the dope or do you reward your partner with hugs kisses and lot of praise maybe have him play with a toy.
2) does your K9 partner gets distracted by food or inseason females?
3) when you are doing tracking does your partner take the excate path of the target or does he just goes and finds the target and takes hold of it
