I'm curious as to why Illinois still does not allow concealed carry? I mainly want opinions as to what yall think the hold up is. Right now I live in Peoria and from what I have seen and heard the people around here are alot more pro-gun then I thought. I have heard one person blame it all on cook county but, if thats the case can't we just send all the Chicago residents over to North Korea or Cuba? I hear they like communism over there. Seriously though whats going on?

That's pretty much it.
The state is run by a bunch of anti-gun liberals, and I don't see it changing anytime soon.
