Although I reside in Cincinnati, OH...I find myself in GA (Atlanta) quite often...probably 20 to 30 times a month for work.

I would say that GA (Atlanta) is my second home.

Does that mean that Atlanta is not representative of Georgia as a whole? LOL.

What part of Georgia is your location?

    I'm in the Athens area.
    I understand. LOL.

Athens is a beautiful area. We would often road trip to UGA from Atlanta during college (early to mid 1980s) and watch Herschel Walker mow people down.

A night kickoff is an 18-20 hour day for the cops working the games. While some great war stories come out of them, you don't see many ever come back for games for pleasure if they leave any of the agencies that work them.
Spot on. From what I remember, every Georgia game that we attended was a madhouse.

I worked an on-duty Bengals detail once (they were short on off-duty detail personnel so me being the rook received the assignment at roll call) and it gave a whole different perspective regarding large sporting events where you're NOT participating in the festivities. My job was simple (so I thought)...run the intersection lights and monitor pedestrians so they cross the crosswalk when the light says "walk". Before the game...no problem. After the game...DAMN.
