Crazy, do you know if the driver just lost control, fell asleep or what?
looks like he was going to fast for the curves.

Too fast AND I'll bet his load shifted which tipped him over. That is a $1,500 fine in PA.
Creeper Cop
I doubt his load shifted, that doesn't happen as often as you might think. Obviously he was going way too fast. His second error was being adamant about staying in the left lane. He could have saved it if he would have floated out to the right lane while gently braking. If you watch closely you can see the trailer start to float to the outside lane, but the driver is doing everything he can to keep his tractor in the left lane. When the tractor begins to be pulled into to outside lane, the driver locked up the trailer brakes (indicating the trailer was probably lightly loaded) which caused the trailer to move even more dramatically to the outside. To make things more hopeless, that stretch of road has very deep ruts that jerked the tractor just as the trailer brakes locked up and the driver overcorrected to the left and that was the end of two lives.
No way the driver fell asleep... that happens much less often then you might like to think as well. Especially going down Donner Pass, where he just spent 15 minutes climbing the hill and then having just had to stop for the California Agriculture inspection station and scale, he would have been wide awake.

On another forum I visit heres what a guy posted about this video...
I had to go to a class today for my job (i'm a truck driver). In the class they stressed driving slow and cautious down hill. A few weeks ago a driver with my company ws shooting his dash cam coming down Donner Pass in California ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donner_Pass ). He is a trainer and was making a training video for the company. As he was coming down the hill, he ended up filming something he never wanted to see. See video below.

Since it is a little hard to see what happened to the truck after it rolled, i'll tell you it went over the cliff. 700 ft down into a ravine. The driver was a student driver and the trainer was asleep in the bunk. Both died. The wreckage is still there.
