I am not trying to diminish what you are doing, but the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial has the kiosks inside the builing that tells each officers story. The Officer Down page also memorializes every officer.
And to be quite honest, I don't think many cops, let alone others care what the captain of an an agency across the US thinks about the fact "cop A" died under his watch. And what cop who dies in the line of duty is not a hero? It comes without saying. I care about the cops family and the circumstances around such that can be taught/learned or to prevent it from causing another cops death. In most cases, that information comes from dash cams, body cams, radio transmissions and not interviews of co-workers and other LEO's who were not there.
You also may want to PM a mod or fbina188 and ask for permission to post this. While we usually allow members to ask for donations, it is usually for a charity or or from something that helps everyone. Your documenatry seems like a personal project, focused in California, in one small area, done by cops from one agency and a firefighter. Meant to or not, it comes off like a thesis, trying to draw a line between budget cuts, economy woes and violence against the police. I don't see how this gives back to the LE community as a whole.
