Research Paper Topic. Help?

In order for me to graduate from high school, I have to do a graduation project. I chose to do a research paper, but I am having trouble coming up with a specific topic. I know I want to do something that involves Law Enforcement, but I'm not sure what exactly.

Have any of you ever had to do a paper about a specific topic regarding Law Enforcement? If so, what did you write about?

If any of you have ideas or even suggestions on coming up with a topic, please help!
