I'm not sure if this has made it's way around yet, but the FBI released a free iPhone app to aid in locating your child if he/she is lost/missing/kidnapped. See the links below:

I know there are a lot of parents on the board, so it's worth a look. I don't have an iPhone, so I can't say how user friendly it is.

I'm going to start taking picks of kids that look like OBL's kids just to see what happens.
Call me a cynic but the real downfall is when hackers create a system if sharing child profiles a la napster. Or alter it so the FBI DB contains CP. I hope they thought through the encryption before deploying. Make it so info can only be shared with FBI from registered clientCaptain Frank Drebin, Police Squad!

Very cool idea... I will have to check it out..thanks. Not sure if I would actually use the app bc the hacking idea does make me nervous with the way society is I'm really surprised that they don't offer to microchip your kids at birth......Ispbear glad you found your son that's a scary feeling I would have freaked out ...., and wolf you have to get a IPhone I have no idea what I would do without it I use mine for work a lot (GPS ). I just have the 3G one but I still love it I'm using it now to type this lol .
