Excuse me Officer, I have a stupid Question. "No problem, I've got a stupid answer for you!"
That many orange cones and that fast can only mean one thing: "Fines are doubled when workers present."
Our M/C guys do the training for the rest of the state and I've always been amazed at the way they can ride. Not that many people get through it, but we also rarely have one of them crash either. And bear in mind that this is Oregon where it rains all winter and the pavement is perpetually slick.
Even OSP, who keeps all their training to themselves sends their M/C people to us for training and certification.
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

WOW!! Hats off to Officer Donnie Williams
Having just gone through the MSF Basic Rider Course....I am greatly impressed with his skills. Our close quarters coned in area was NOTHING like that and I still lost points for going outside the lines. I did get a big break through. My assigned bike for the weekend was a ninja 250. The same model and size bike I bought except this one was a few years newer....definitely helped boast the confidence level.

I know quite a few guys that can ride like that. I, however, am not one of them. I ride a fairly large cruiser with a longer wheelbase (and rake) than the HD Road King, so I doubt that precision could be duplicated with my bike anyway.
LOL. I ride with a guy who we are constantly saying the same thing to. He is fond of suddenly deciding to do a tight 360 scraping the foot plates the entire maneuver just before zipping off. He rode motors for over 20 years though and has a Road King that is as nimble as they come. He has some other nifty maneuvers I've seen, but he rarely does them because he doesn't want to tear up the clutch and brakes on his own bike.
