Police: Couple left child in hot car at strip club

There is too much win here. And baby was fine (well physically, genetically that baby is in dire straits) though drenched in sweat and uncomfortable.

Police: Couple left child in hot car at strip club

    1. Location is where Switch says he has "kinfolk"
    2. Dad AND mom visiting strip club (assuming that it wasn't mom's place of work)
    3. Dad comes out wearing a home incarceration bracelet from Clark County, Ind
    4. Dad complained the back seat of the cruiser was hot as he was transported to jail. (I'm sure the officer didn't have the windows rolled up and the heater turned on full for the trip).

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Police have arrested two people after finding a one-year-old child in the back seat of a car at a strip club.

When police arrived, the child was crying and soaked in sweat, according to the arrest record reported by WLKY-TV.

The child's mother, Laura DiPrimo, ran out of the club, started the car and rolled down the rear window. The child's father, Thomas Lee, followed. He was wearing a home incarceration bracelet from Clark County, Ind.

Both said they had been drinking, according to the arrest report.

Police say the child is doing fine and was placed in the custody of a relative.

DiPrimo and Lee were charged with wanton endangerment.

Police said Lee complained the back seat of the cruiser was hot as he was transported to jail.

"Hello. My name is Lieutenant Frank Drebin, Detective Sergeant, Police Squad."

One hopes there is a special place in Hell for the evil people who make, trade, and possess child pornography. Until they get there, we are committed to putting them in jail. -- David Procopio, Massachusetts State Police

One of the K9 guys I work with did an experiment on a 90+ deg day.

They each got into a cruiser, rolled up the windows and sat there with the engine off and were told to stay in as long as they could. The average time that the officers started bailing out of the baking hot cars was 5-6 minutes.

15-20 minutes will (and has) killed kids here. There are a few a year it seems. Car inside temps reach 140-160 in minutes. I think one child even died in a car in the garage.
