These two animals were just sentenced. The kidnapper/rapist has a desire "to tell his story" but it was barred by his plea bargain. Judge tells rapist that the other inmates would love to hear the story of a child rapist and kidnapper and that his desire to tell his story will pass. I'm surprised the NY Times published the comment unless they plan to do expose on how judges know about prisoner abuse yet don't order the prisons closed immediately.

Susan Gellman, a lawyer for Mr. Garrido, said in court that her client was also remorseful, and that he agreed with the scathing depiction of his life of depravity, violence and crime. But, Ms. Gellman said that Mr. Garrido was suffering “mental health issues,” including a desire to “tell his story,” something he gave up by pleading guilty.
In his final statement, Judge Phimister said Mr. Garrido would not feel the same desire while incarcerated, suggesting that other prisoners would want to hear “what a wonderful story this was.”
