So, Barack, Janet, The Borders Are Safer?

Much of this footage is over 70 miles north of the border with Mexico, yet our executive staff in the federal government wants you to believe it is safer than it has ever been.

Both Barack and Janet have been invited to come out and ride in the Vekol Valley corridor, since it is reportedly safe, but to date have declined.

We are actually at more risk, at a national security level, than we have ever been.

The border must be secured to prevent foreign born criminals, narco-terrorists and international terrorists from gaining easy passage into the United States.

I suppose one is free to choose to believe the politicians or the boots on the ground. I go with the boots.

It's a shame. People are pretty clueless and that's likely what the politicians want. I probably would be too if it wasn't for you and what you post on here.

Greg, the last two law enforcement officers murdered in Arizona were done so by illegal aliens. The last two to die in the line of duty (train struck their vehicle) were trying to set up a blocking action on illegal alien smugglers.

Some may remember that I started speaking this growing scourge on our society years ago and it is just getting worse by the day.

People who are not out here in the mix really have no idea how bad it is. Citizens that live out here are scared to death as well as being sick and tired of the federal government not doing all it can to protect us by securing our border.

We are taking military action against Libya under the pretense it is to protect innocent lives. The narco-terrorists in Mexico have brutally murdered nearly 40,000 in the last couple of years, many of them judges, politicians, police officers who take a stand against them. Should we not be considering military action to secure an area so close to our border?

I don't intend to fear monger, but if we do not take decisive action now, we will be facing something worse than we ever imagined later...it's just a matter of time.

Yes you've been talking about it for years and if it wasn't for that, up until the recent murders/deaths, I wouldn't have ever guessed it was such a warzone down there...

For clarification - I have no compunction about locking down the border and leaving the problems IN Mexico to the Mexican government. Send advisors to assist their government if/when requested, but I'm sick and tired of Americans losing lives as we handle everyone else's problems. We got enough stuff going on here I'd prefer to have handled before we send money and resources elsewhere.

    I agree, Sarge.

In my statement I am not suggesting, or even recommending, our troops invade Mexico.

But the military should be seriously considered to station as a blocking force along the border. I think there could be no greater honor for a soldier, sailor, airman or Marine than to do duty with their boots on our own soil, protecting our own Nation.

The smuggling routes in the rural areas ought to be considered a No Man's Land with the Mexican military doing their fair share to stop the incursions from their side.

It's also important to note that the Mexican people are not our enemy. The criminals are the enemy.

We also need to somehow cut the cartel's money source (American dopers), but that's another issue.

I didn't mean to insinuate you felt we should invade Mexico which is why I quoted sparrow's post. I didn't want any question as to whether I was linked with an opinion on going into Mexico.

There are myriad nations around the world which utilize their military en masse on their international borders. Strangely enough, as the biggest and baddest, we don't. LP/OP's could be set up all over the border, we'd just have to work something out with the indians for access to their lands - or set up some WWII-style beach barriers and concertina wire around THEIR borders.

Two recent car fatalities were illegal aliens hitting citizens. Recent murders too. There was a fire truck that tipped over swerving to avoid a car full of illegal immigrants that blew through a traffic light. Even beyond the deaths, there is an incredible amount of damage done within the community with violence, drugs, uninsured accidents, medical bills, etc, etc.

If we did go into Mexico and remove the cartels, etc. They will just start up somewhere else...there is always a seed of evil to begin anew. The only way to stop it forever is to stop the demand of illegal drug usage, unfortunately I don't see that ever happening. I saw on a news show a few weeks ago that these cartels are not only in Mexico, they are in the U.S., in the Midwest, the Northeast, everywhere. They're testing the waters to see what they can get away with.

My opinion is the Govt. should pull funds from educating about the evils of illicit drugs (since it hasn't worked anyway) and put that money into law enforcement on the border. Treat it as a war action without actually saying the word, send troops or whatever it takes.

My 2 ct from Europe about the politicans (everywhere the same kind of -uhm- people I think)

Here they builded the european union and what do they do, they take every poor country into that union and wonder why their income is so bad that the richer nations have to pay for them. First it was Greece, than Ireland, now Portugal but they also get those "rich" countries Bulgaria and Romania into the EU. The only thing I notice from that countries is that all the criminals and Gypsies from that countries are in my duty beat now and do their crimes. Same with the illegals from Kosovo (well known for rape, burgulary, robbery in the late 80'1, early 90's). Now the kosovarian Government took back all the illegal Persons from germany. For what prize? That every Kosovarian can travle to Germany without a Visa in two years. I think I know wher all the criminals that have to leave my country now will be in two years.

What F**K me up most is that Germany has to pay more than 35 precent into the EU money bag. When in heaven do our politicans scratch away the swastika from their foreheads. That (really bad) time is gone more than 65 years, how long should we pay for what our grandparrents and their parrents have done?
Evenhand (Cop Movie): You can't be everybody's friend

There are two things I'm good in, the second is arresting people

I'm looking for Drug/Narcotic Unit patches together with DUI/DWI unit patches for a frame in our Anti-Drug-Team bureau

Also looking for Massachusetts Police and US Capitol City PD patches now!

The cartels aren't testing the waters. The cartels are well established & have been for some time now. Just because the news now decide to mention it, doesn't make it a recent occurrence. Just a recently reported occurrence.

The cartels became established back when there was basically one cartel, led by Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo and they mules drugs fornthe Colombians. All cartelsmtrace their lineage to him. What led to the present day cartels was Gallardo's ordered kidnapping, torturing and killing of DEA Special Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, in 1985.

That set off a firestorm which led Gallardo to dividing up his territory ton the Arellano-Felix brothers, Carrillo-Fuentes family, Miguel Caro-Quintero, Juan Garcia-Abrego and Joaquín "Chapo" Guzman-Loera; all of whom worked for Gallardo.

Now, in 1984 the U.S. Had a little thing happen called amnesty. All illegal aliens whonmet a certain criteria were granted amnesty for their past transgressions. We won't even touch on the colossal amount of fraud which was perpetrated during this. Thus, from the onset these newly independent cartels, who initially continued working together, had people legally in place in the U.S..

Fast forward a couple of decades and towns are now over ridden with illegal immigrants, most, but not all, from Mexico. Many of these poor undocumented aliens searching for a better life and their piece of an American dream (spouting left wing propaganda) in fact, work for the cartels. You can look at Phoenix, the number 2 kidnapping capital of the world as proof of that. Which BIG is more than sure lead to Arizona's "racist" (rolls eyes here) anti-immigration law.

Forget the fact that Arizona's law practically mirrored U.S.law, but that's for another thread.

In nutshell, where illegals go, DTO's (Drug Trafficking Organizations) are sure to follow.

    BIG's rant is over.
BIG SEXY says - "When life hands you lemons, take those same lemons & smash them into lifes' ugly *** mugg!! That'll learn'em to give you lemons."
