Breaking news Three dead, 2 injured in Adelaide shooting
A GUNMAN has been arrested following an Adelaide siege in which two men and a woman died, a teenage boy was wounded and a police officer was shot in the face.
Police had been negotiating with the man, who was alone in a house surrounded by STAR group officers in suburban Hectorville.
Three people died and three were injured, including two officers, during the siege.
"Police can confirm that three people are dead and another is seriously injured," they said in a statement.
The ages of the three dead are not known. The wounded person is a teenage boy who is being treated for serious injuries in hospital.
Two police were injured, one is in a stable condition with serious facial injuries after being shot.
A second officer was treated for a knee injury and released from hospital.
Officers went to the house at Montacute Road about 2.30am (CST) today after a woman called triple zero saying shots had been fired.
It is understood police arrived within minutes and returned fire after being fired on by the gunman.
Following the shootings the man had fled to a second house where he was alone until he was arrested without further incident or injury.
Deputy Commissioner Gary Burns will make further comment on the incident later today.
