    I think you are a wonderful person for posting this. This hits home for me because, all though I live up north, my sister lives in MS with my mom. When I first heard about the destruction, I called her immediately but could not get a hold of her because of the downed lines. It took a few days before she actually called me back, and even then we couldn't talk long because there was a massive thunderstorm going on and she kept losing service. My high school is currently having students donate non-parishable food as well as clothing, to send down to the affected states.
