Deputies Seek Scofflaw Squirrel - Photos - KOCO Oklahoma City

"Chewy" the Squirrel is Captured. Crack Detectives narrowed the vandal suspect list to "squirrel" when they inspected the engine compartment and found squirrel footprints leading to the damaged wiring.

Greg would shoot up through the ranks with their squirrel community based policing.
"Sheriff Greg of the Oklahoma County Sheriff Office" elected on the squirrel vote.

Count sheriff's deputies are on the hunt for a suspect who continues to elude the law -- a squirrel.

The most wanted rodent from Oklahoma County is labeled a vandal by the sheriff and is wanted to be brought to justice.

"Don't be fooled by his/her innocent looks folks, this squirrel is a furry vandal," the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office Facebook page said.

"Seriously, he/she has done some major damage by chewing through the wiring of at least one of our patrol vehicles."

The Sheriff's Office posted pictures of the scofflaw on its Facebook page in hopes of apprehending the so-called vandal.

"We are coming for you squirrel the sheriff always gets his err...man...err squirrel," the sheriff's Facebook page said.

OCSO: Fugitive Squirrel's Run Officially Over - Oklahoma City News Story - KOCO Oklahoma City

After a nearly two-week crime spree gnawing on the insides of deputy cruisers, a fugitive squirrel was captured by Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies on Tuesday.

The squirrel's apprehension was captured by video and posted to YouTube by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff made the announcement on Twitter and told the squirrel that her run was officially over.

The scofflaw has been avoiding police for nearly two weeks and taunted the sheriff on Twitter. The squirrel's account had 172 followers as of Tuesday afternoon.

"Even though she caused nearly $700.00 in damages to an OCSO vehicle, the squirrel has been pardoned and is set for release in better surroundings," said sheriff's spokesman Mark Myers
