Here, the fine doubles after 14 days and after 30 days, a warrant is issued for the vehicle. It can be towed and impounded until the fine and all the towing charges are paid.

I just really don't have the money.... But if I need to borrow the money to reduce the fees I will. Its a relief to know that this parking violation is not going to crush my chances of becoming a brother of the force.

Not every entity is that harsh. The city I worked for squeezes as much money as they can from people. They just doubled the parking meter rates around the soccer stadium when there are games just to give you an example.

It would probably hurt your chances if you parked a stolen car while smoking crack with a dead body in the trunk. Other than that, parking tickets are generally not even considered unless there was some kind of lengthy pattern. Everyone makes mistakes.
